Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website haulhub.eu and the services made available through it (the "Platform"). By creating an account, posting content, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Who we are

The Platform is operated by SIA HEIDA LTD, registration number 40203741048, VAT LV40203741048, registered at Spāres iela 3A, Rīga, LV-1002, Latvia ("HaulHub", "we", "us"). You can contact us at support@haulhub.eu.

2. What HaulHub is — and what it is not

HaulHub is an online marketplace that lets professional drivers and transport companies create profiles, post and discover job opportunities, communicate, and review one another. HaulHub is not an employer, employment agency, or staffing provider. We do not enter into employment relationships with drivers, do not pay wages, and are not a party to any agreement between a driver and a company.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to register.
• If you register on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it.
• The information you provide must be true, complete, and kept up to date.
• You may hold only one account per natural person and one account per legal entity.

4. Accounts and security

You are responsible for the activity that takes place under your account. Keep your password confidential. Notify us without delay at support@haulhub.eu if you suspect unauthorised access. We may require you to verify your e-mail address before granting access to certain features and may suspend access if verification fails.

5. Driver profiles

Drivers may publish information about their licences, ADR qualifications, languages, work history, and salary expectations. You warrant that all such information is accurate and that any document, photograph, or detail you upload either belongs to you or you have the right to use it. Surname display can be hidden in account settings; while hidden, employer-side verification of work history is unavailable.

6. Company profiles and job postings

Companies are responsible for the lawfulness of their job offers. You agree that postings will:

• describe a real, currently available position;
• not discriminate on protected grounds (gender, age, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, etc.);
• comply with applicable labour, transport, and tax law in the jurisdictions concerned;
• not include personal contact details or external links solely to circumvent the Platform.

Each new company account receives a quota of free job postings. Once the free quota is used, further postings require the purchase of a job-post credit pack via the Promotions page. Free postings and paid postings are subject to identical Platform rules.

6a. Verification levels

HaulHub assigns each company an automatic verification level — Registered, Trusted, or Verified — based on profile completeness, an EU VIES VAT check, account age, driver reviews and other automated signals. The level is recomputed when relevant data changes; we may also override it manually in case of suspected fraud. The badge is informational and does not guarantee any outcome.

7. Work-history verification

If a driver lists a previous employer by registration number, the corresponding company account may receive a verification request and may approve, deny, or ignore it. Approved entries display a "verified" badge. Companies must answer truthfully and only based on internal records.

8. Communications and contact reveal

A driver's contact information is hidden by default. It is revealed to a company only after the driver has applied to that company's job offer, and only for as long as the application is open. Companies may send a job offer to a driver only if a matching offer has been posted and the offered salary meets or exceeds the driver's stated expectation. A driver who declines an offer cannot be contacted by the same company about that or another offer for 24 hours. Use of the messaging feature for unsolicited marketing, spam, or harassment is prohibited.

9. Reviews and ratings

Reviews must reflect a real, first-hand interaction (e.g., a completed application or working relationship). Reviews must be factual, lawful, and free of personal data about uninvolved third parties. We may remove reviews that breach these Terms or applicable law. Misuse of reviews — including fake, paid, or retaliatory reviews — may result in account suspension.

10. User content

You retain ownership of the content you upload (profile data, photos, logos, postings, messages, reviews). You grant HaulHub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, transform (e.g., resize, rename, optimise), and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the Platform. The licence ends when you delete the content, except where retention is required for legal or security reasons.

11. Paid services — promotions and credits

Companies may purchase the following paid services from SIA HEIDA LTD:

• Promotional placements — logo banners, sticky listings, bold listings, and post-level highlighting on the drivers, companies, jobs or home pages. Promotion periods are 7, 14, 21, or 28 days; promotions begin once payment is confirmed and end automatically.
• Job-post credit packs — additional job postings beyond the free starting quota.
• Offer credit packs — additional direct job offers to drivers beyond the free weekly allowance.

Payments are processed by Montonio (bank links and card payments). Displayed prices are net (excluding VAT). VAT 21% is added on top at checkout for buyers established in Latvia and for non-business buyers in other EU member states. For business buyers in other EU member states who provide a VAT number validated through the EU VIES service, the reverse-charge mechanism applies (Article 196 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC) and no VAT is charged by us. An electronic invoice is issued by SIA HEIDA LTD and sent to the registered e-mail address after each successful payment.

Prices may change at any time for new orders. Paid services are non-refundable once started or once credits have been granted, except where required by mandatory law. We may refuse or remove a promotion that breaches these Terms or applicable law without refund.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
• create fake profiles, postings, or reviews;
• scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract Platform content without our prior written consent;
• upload malicious code, attempt to bypass security or rate limits, or interfere with Platform availability;
• use the Platform to send unsolicited marketing or recruit for unlawful work;
• upload content you do not have the right to use, including third-party logos or photographs.

13. Reporting and moderation

You can report a profile, posting, review, or message to the administrator. We review reports and may, at our discretion, warn, mute, suspend, or permanently ban an account, or delete content. We will keep the reporter informed of the outcome where appropriate. Decisions can be appealed by replying to the notification we send.

14. Intellectual property

The Platform itself — including the HaulHub name, logo, design, source code, and database structure — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to it beyond ordinary use of the Platform.

15. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is". We do not warrant that profiles or postings are accurate, that jobs will be obtained, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. Match scores and similar features are informational and do not guarantee suitability or hiring outcomes.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HaulHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profit, business, goodwill, or data. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Platform is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or EUR 100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

17. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or where required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ends; sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, governing law) remain in force.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by e-mail or in-app notice at least 15 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Riga, Latvia, except where mandatory consumer-protection law allows you to bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
